Wrist Pain Management at Ulverston Physio
Wrist Pain Management at Ulverston Physio
At Ulverston Physiotherapy, your Chartered Physiotherapist Les Potter will conduct a comprehensive assessment and provide targeted treatment for wrist pain as part of a personalised rehabilitation program designed to help you achieve your specific goals.
Wrist pain can arise from various causes, including acute injuries from falls on an outstretched hand or a gradual onset due to overuse. Les Potter combines a variety of treatments to address what can often be painful and debilitating injuries. These treatments may include stretching, massage therapy, manipulation, mobilisations , and a robust and effective functional rehabilitation program focused on strengthening the wrist to facilitate a return to your daily activities or sports. Each rehabilitation program is tailored to meet your individual needs, ensuring the best possible recovery.
In the vast majority of individual cases, wrist pain is resolved following a Physio assessment and treatment from our Ulverston Physiotherapy clinic. However there can be situations when wrist pain does not fully resolve. Therefore you may need to discuss with your GP for advice and guidance. Your Ulverston Physiotherapist will explain what the next process could involve, as part of your care and injury rehabilitation pathway.
Examples of wrist injuries treated at Ulverston Physiotherapy include:
- Dequervain’s tenosynovitus
